Ornell Lawn Service, Straight Linez, began in 2018 with the care of a single youth baseball field. What started as a commitment to keeping one field in top condition quickly grew as neighbors took notice and began asking for lawn fertilization and maintenance services. Each year, that word-of-mouth growth added more homes and deeper roots in the community.
In 2023, Rockford’s townball team—the Crows—trusted Straight Linez to maintain their field, marking a major milestone for the business. Building on that partnership, 2024 brought another step forward as Straight Linez was selected to maintain all Rockford baseball and softball fields.
In 2025, several clients asked if Straight Linez could also provide mosquito spraying services as part of their property care. To meet that need—and continue offering complete outdoor solutions—we acquired an established mosquito spraying company, allowing us to better serve our customers and protect the outdoor spaces they enjoy.
